Brief
For this part of the assignment we were tasked with producing an 30 second long promotional video for the MV Augusta 750s vintage racing motorbike.
The production would be done as a part of a group, in which each member will be tasked with completing a part of the production process. I was responsible for Post-production and editing together the final video.
Storyboard & Production
Before the day of the video shoot, we had to finalise a storyboard for the video. The storyboard seen below was produced by a member of my group.
After completing the storyboard, we were given the go ahead to film. We were able to get most of the shots from our storyboard. However, we weren't able to capture some of the shots in which we had intended on moving around in close proximity to the bike due to the bike being a vintage antique costing over £80,000.
Post Production
Upon capturing our footage on the day of the shoot, we then went on to put together the video in post production.
At this stage, I was responsible for deciding on the soundtrack to use for the video. In the end I chose to use the song 'Solar Sailer' by French electronic music producing duo, Daft Punk. I chose this track to use because of its consistent and simple beat. The beat was simple enough that it would be easy to edit video clip transitions over.

| Editing sequence in Adobe Premiere Pro |
In terms of transitions between clips, I chose to stick with simple dissolves. I did this by introducing and adjusting opacity keyframes on overlapping clips.
The video mostly continues with the same transitions but a variation of video clips till the last full shot of the bike. In that last shot, I overlaid typography saying the name of the motorbike.

| Colour correction editing |
Once I was happy with the transitions and structure of the video, I went about colour correcting. For a majority of the video clips, it was just a case of adjusting the temperature, exposure and contrast, then adding on one of the default input LUTs, which gave the video colours a lot more vibrance.
Below is the final cut of the promotional video
